Michael M. Sullivan, Field Agent with the Niemeyer Agency, serves Brother Knights and their families in Calhoun, Greene, Macoupin, Madison and Morgan counties in Illinois. Mike joined the Knights of Columbus in 1979 and became a Field Agent in 2006.
After graduating from Edwardsville High School, he attended Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He was employed for many years by the Goshen Do-It Center in Glen Carbon managing their John Deere Dealership.
He has earned the professional designations of Fraternal Insurance Counselor (FIC) and Fraternal Insurance Counselor Fellow (FICF) through Kaplan University and is a member of the National Association of Fraternal Insurance Counselors. He has also earned the designation of Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) through The American College. And, in 2023 he earned the designation of Certification for Long-Term Care (CLTC).
He has been a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the premier association of financial professionals globally.
Throughout the past, almost twenty years as an agent, he has qualified for four Premier Performers Award Trips. He was also named Agency, Rookie of the Year in 2006 and Agent of the Year in 2007 and 2016.
He holds Life and Health Producer’s Licenses in both Illinois and Missouri.
He is a lifelong resident of Edwardsville as is his wife, Lisa. They have two children, Michael and Daniel, who are Brother Knights as well. They are lifelong members of St. Mary's Parish in Edwardsville, where Mike was a member of the Pastoral Council and involved with Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP). They are also members of St. Boniface Parish in Edwardsville and supporters of Fr. McGivney Catholic High School in Glen Carbon. Mike participates in various activities at his local Council and currently serves as Membership Director.
Mike enjoys playing golf and hiking. With Lisa and family, they enjoy traveling and RV Camping.
He likes to build strong lasting relationships with his fellow Knights and their families, and guide them in making educated decisions about their financial security.
